SEED4NA @ the Week of GI-Education for the Future

The SEED4NA project contributed to the organization of the Week of GI-Education for the Future, a virtual event that brought together teachers, experts, practitioners and students to present and discuss recent advances in GI-education and think about GI-education for the future. The Week of GI-Education was held from Monday 25 January to Thursday 28 January, and consisted of four sessions focusing on specific aspects of innovative GI-education.

In the introductory session on Monday Glenn Vancauwenberghe (KU Leuven) presented the SEED4NA project, looking at both the work done in the first year of the project but also at the next steps in the second and third year of the project, in which several curriculum development projects at the eight partner universities will be prepared and implemented.

The session on Thursday focused on international collaboration in the design and implementation of GI-education, with speakers representing different parts of the world. Mejdi Kaddour and Nourredine Aribi (University of Oran 1) presented the experiences of their project in several Erasmus+ CBHE projects, also including the SEED4NA project. Starting from a (skills) needs analysis on GI and EO in Algeria, they presented how different Erasmus+ projects support them in addressing these needs and improving GI and EO education at their university.
