SPIDER Summer School on Open SDI in Zagreb.

Several SEED4NA partners participated in the SPIDER Summer School on Open SDI, which took place in Zagreb from 22 to 26 August 2022. The Summer School on Open SDI was organized in the context of the Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership SPIDER, in which five leading universities in SDI education collaborated with the aim to promote and strengthen active learning and teaching towards Open SDI. Among these universities are the University of Zagreb, KU Leuven, and Bochum University of Applied Sciences, three partners of the SEED4NA consortium. Together with colleagues from TU Delft and Lund University they provided a set of active teaching practices on SDI and related topics during the Summer School.

Four members of the SEED4NA team participated in the Summer School to learn more about Open SDI and how to teach about it in an active way. Mejdi Kaddour, Nourredine Aribi (both from University of Oran 1 Ahmed Ben Bella), Adnane Labbaci and Lhoussaine Bouchaou (both from University of Ibn Zohr Agadir) were introduced into various technological and non-technological aspects of Open SDIs, but also shared their knowledge and expertise with the other participating students. In this way, the Summer School allowed them to increase their knowledge on and understanding of key developments and trends in the development and implementation of SDIs, which will help them in revising and improving their own SDI courses.
